I am reposting this in hopes that a different subject area might elicit a response.
i cant make or receive calls since Thursday 3rd October- UK
I have been with Id mobile for years using a SIM only card currently in a Motorola Edge 20 lite which is fully updated . I update my plans regularly , last time a month ago.
On Thursday 3rd October I stopped being able to make it receive calls. I can text, use internet, apps etc. without a problem.
I have completed all the checks as advised as I saw there was an issue around 3G. I am usually on 5G, sometimes dropping to 4g depending on reception.
I have read several other community members similar concerns but I can't find what's causing the problem or how to resolve it out side of the checks which I have completed.
My phone is an accepted device.
Any solutions please as I'm now getting desperate?
Thanks in anticipation

Context:
Switched from another provider and got a new ID Mobile Sim
Iphone12
Switched using a PAC code
My Solution - Iphone12
Upgrade my iphone to “iOS version 18.1.1”
Checked if i needed a “Carrier update” - General > settings > about > “If you are prompted for an update then do it. If not you are good”
Verified i have coverage in my area - The idmobile customer service bot will walk you through this via “live chat”. Service bot is still 1/10 and thats being generous
Checked “network settings” : Settings > Mobile service > network selection > Do you see “ID” - if yes, then you are good
Checked “mobile data settings” : Settings > Mobile service > mobile data options > Turn it all onto “auto” - if yes, then you are good
Checked if my number was even recognised on the phone : Settings → General > Apps > phone app > My number > I added my number here, as it was empty > turned my phone off and on again.
The above steps worked for me, hope this helped rather than the 1/10 customer service bot from ID Mobile. Remember to give this a like so it makes it more searchable online to help more people.

Save yourself the stress and cancel contract, I have been in same position for 3 weeks. The problem is not and never has been with our phones, its an ID issue from their network and they are clearly doing nothing about it. A promised update from tech will never come because they have no clue at all. Ofcom will be getting a message from myself and this shambles of a provider needs investigating.
I like in Ayrshire and have had the same problem for about 3 weeks. I have also gone through all of the trouble shooting for my iPhone without success. My husband also has the problem of not being able to make or receive calls; he is with Three, the network that ID Mobile use. This is obviously a network issue, not a phone issue.

Sadly after many years of being with iD and it suiting my needs I am coming to the same conclusion. It is a shambles and not one word of apology.

Ok, I think I’ve found a solution. Switch on VoLTE; I have switched it on for me, and also on my husbands phone, and we can both now make and receive calls.
It’s an iPhone I have. Open Settings > Mobile Service > Mobile Data Options > Voice & Data, in there you will find a toggle button to switch on VoLTE.
