Full signal, 5g, takes ages to load anything

I have full signal, 5g, and downloaded and app which took 2 minutes and 31 seconds. This seems to be the case if I’m opening an app, opening a web page etc… does anyone have any advice before I throw my beautiful new phone out of the window?

    Could be down to congestion on the mast. 5G as we know it now relies on 4G backend infrastructure. Once three roll out 5G standalone then you will get the full benefits of proper 5G. With the VodaThree merger who knows how long this will take. You can try turning off 5G and using 4G as that may be quicker. Also check here for any outages in your area.

    Hi Tyler,

    I’ve had the new phone for just over a week, it’s iPhone 15 and had issues since starting it. 

    my post code is ST7 area. This isn’t just happening here, it’s everywhere I go.

    Hey there ​@Laura1911, sorry to hear that, what’s the full postcode so I can check it please, or other full postcodes you regularly visit also?

     

    It could be that you’re within a weaker 5G area, so we’d like to check that if possible.
