HI @Kallum Warwick

Here are some suggestions I have found:-

If your phone connects to other Wi-Fi networks but not your home network, try restarting your phone and router, forgetting the network on your phone, and reconnecting with the correct password.

Here's a more detailed troubleshooting guide:

1. Basic Checks:

  • Restart your phone and router: A simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches.
  • Check for Airplane Mode: Ensure Airplane Mode is disabled on your phone.
  • Verify Wi-Fi is enabled: Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on in your phone's settings.
  • Check the password: Double-check that you're entering the correct Wi-Fi password.
  • Check for any parental controls or restrictions: Some parental controls might restrict Wi-Fi access.

2. Network Issues:

  • Forget and Reconnect:

Forget the Wi-Fi network on your phone and then reconnect, entering the password again.

  • Check Router Status:

Ensure your router is functioning correctly and has a stable internet connection.

  • Check for Router Interference:

Other devices using the same Wi-Fi channel can cause interference. Try changing the router's channel.

  • Check for ISP issues:

Contact your internet service provider (ISP) to see if there are any outages or problems in your area.

3. Phone-Specific Issues:

  • Check for software updates: Ensure your phone's operating system and Wi-Fi drivers are up to date.
  • Reset Network Settings: This will erase all saved Wi-Fi networks and mobile data settings, but it can fix persistent connection problems.
  • Check for MAC address blocking: Some routers can block devices by their MAC address. Check your router's settings to see if your phone is blocked.
  • Check for proxy or IP assignment issues: Try forgetting the connection and adding it again.
  • Check for static IP address issues: If you have a static IP address, ensure it's configured correctly.
  • Check for software conflicts: Some apps might interfere with Wi-Fi connections. Try disabling recently installed apps.

4. Advanced Troubleshooting:

  • Use a Wi-Fi analyzer app:

These apps can help identify potential interference or signal strength issues.

  • Check for hardware issues:

If none of the above steps work, there might be a hardware problem with your phone's Wi-Fi antenna.

  • Contact your phone manufacturer or a technician:

If you suspect a hardware issue, consult with your phone manufacturer or a qualified technician.

Good luck x
