iphone 16 cant make or receive calls Esim

I purchased the new iPhone 16 with Id eSIM the data is fine but I can’t make or receive calls and I have no idea why. I have paced over my old number and had confirmation that has worked

Okay @Grae10, your mobile phone number should be displayed in Settings > Phone > My Number on your iPhone.

Tap on My Number and enter your mobile number, then tap Save.

    Can you send & receive SMS text messages, @Grae10? 

    Has the Three UK (the iD Mobile network partner) 3G mobile infrastructure been shut-down in your area?

    Yes I seem to be able to send and receive texts and it doesn’t seem they’ve been shut of yet by me
