changed from o2 to ID mobile ( got new iPhone 16 pro max) First sim you sent didn’t work said I had no service the phone was running solely off wifi only. I cannot send any iMessages or FaceTime anyone. I can only use SMS text message not iMessages. Tried all the steps and network resets in settings. You have sent another sim, same problem, tried all the fixes and setting changes still nothing! I have today put this new ID sim into my old phone (iPhone 13 pro max) and everything works fine?? Why does the ID service and network not work in my brand new phone ( iPhone 16 pro max?).

Clearly, the issue is with your iPhone 16 Pro Max then and not the SIM or iD Mobile network. What has Apple said? Did you tell them that you put the SIM in your old iPhone 13 Pro Max and that both activated just fine? They made the device after all and both iMessage and FaceTime are Apple services. They should be providing you with support!
Did you deactivate iMessage and FaceTime on your 13 Pro Max before putting the SIM back in your 16 Pro Max? If not, try doing that.
Also, is your mobile number correctly displayed within the following menu: Settings > Mobile Service > My Number
It should start with +447 and not 07.
Same for Settings > Apps > Phone > My Number
