Myself Mum and Auntie are all on ID and we can't make or receive calls, we're in South Manchester 😑 this is the second time somethings gone amiss this month.


I need to be able make calls and receive

I have not been able to make or receive calls all day and it has really affect my work. Even thought it was the fault of IPhone but they have done everything and they made me understand that I need to contact ID.

The id app is down to I can't get on I can make calls and texts I'm Exeter Devon I have issues getting the id app apparently 3 network engineers are still trying to sorted its an isolated issue

No improvement yet up here in the North East. Unable to make any calls since around 1 pm today and still nothing works. I rely on my mobile for many of my business calls so it’s a real nuisance. Hopefully the engineers will resolve the issues soon.

They are taking ages about it tho I thought they would of found the issue by now I can make calls and texts I'm having problems getting the id App

FWIW I did create my own topic with a possible 3G workaround for calling only (the data doesn’t like it though) but I’ve tested this on 2 iD SIMs and it works (but not everyone can still latch onto a 3G signal so don’t shout at me if it doesn’t work for you) and that as of 23:50 the iD Mobile App is back up and running.

 

I tend to be a night owl so if I notice the calls start working (before iD’s next service update at 10:00 am🤐) I’ll  add it to this topic but will be posting it on the end of the other one anyway.

Edited to avoid confusion, my reply was meant to be a general reply to anyone whom tries to access the iD app and sees the splash screen stating We’ll be right back

Force close the app and then open it again. Mine wasn’t working at 23:45 but as of 23:50 the app (after force closing) opens fine now.

Version 6.5.0 of the app now has a better refresh rate but force closing will speed things up

Try toggling the phone on to flight/airplane mode, leave it there for 30 seconds and then toggle it back off. See if you can call out (test dial 7777), but note their latest update copied below

 


 

 

FWIW on iDM’s service status page (I’ll post the text only rather than an image in case your data is still flaky) it now shows this:

Latest Updates:

23:45 - We have received reports indicating that some customers who previously experienced issues are now able to make and receive calls. The 3UK engineering team is still actively working on and monitoring the situation, but we are seeing signs of improvement. The iD Mobile app and my.idmobile.co.uk are now accessible. Thank you for your patience and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Our next update will be in the morning.
