Technically, you don’t need a SIM in the handset in order to use the device with a Wi-Fi network.
Have you tried the iD SIM in a different device
Your iD SIM might be broken or faulty.
Yes it works in every other mobile phone I have tried, just not the new Google pixel 7 pro!! Chat bot is no use with ID and been to carphone warehouse twice, just need this resolved as soon as possible
If your iD SIM cards works perfectly in many other handsets, sounds like your Google Pixel device doesn't work properly.
Your Pixel 7 Pro could be covered by the manufacturer's warranty

Hi
If the SIM card works in every other device but not your Pixel 7 Pro it sounds like there may be an issue with the device, not the SIM.
Have you tried resetting network settings?
Is the Pixel 7 Pro an unlocked device?
Tom
Yes I have reet the network settings but still won't recognise the SIM card.
Yes it is an unlocked device and SIM cards from vodaphone, ee all work. It just won't recognise or connect to the ID network
Three also works
If the SIM cards from the 3 other service providers work correctly in your Pixel 7, perhaps it’s time to switch to an alternative service provider
I think so @andewhite
Thank you
It seems strange that iD Mobile sell the Pixel 7 Pro with line rental, and yet the device is not approved for use on the iD Mobile network… go figure?

This may be the reason it will not work. Yes how very strange as the handset is showing as being part of my upgrade options (however I have received a handset from my daughter)
