My phone number has been stolen and I can't contact anyone at ID!

Someone has ordered a new SIM and set it up with my name and number. They have activated it, deactivating my SIM. They now have access to all my one-time passcodes, giving them access to all my online accounts and banking.

 

I've been trying to contact ID via the live chat since yesterday, it's always a 1hour+ queue, and the connection drops before I make it to the front of the queue.

 

The scammer ordered the SIM to:

15 Ellingham Court
Thornton
BRADFORD
BD13 3EF

 

If ID cannot get this sorted by 4PM today I'm going to drive there with a hammer and sort it myself.

Doesn’t sound great @Nectarine.

I’d recommend contacting the iD social media customer support team privately by using Facebook (with Messenger), or Twitter (by DM) for assistance. 

The iD agents work until 8pm on weekdays (and 6pm at weekends).

I’d recommend contacting the iD social media customer support team privately by using Facebook (with Messenger), or Twitter (by DM) for assistance. 

The iD agents work until 8pm on weekdays (and 6pm at weekends).
