rolling monthly contracts

Hi,

I’m considering joining ID mobile but am a little confused by the fact that for £8 a month I can get a monthly or 12 monthly contract but both with 12 GB data and unlimited texts and calls. What would be the advantage of getting the 12 moth. contract?

Hello @brendanxx,

I guess a 1-month plan gives you more flexibility - to change, upgrade, leave or cancel.

Having a 12-month SIM only contract commits you to 12-months.

If 1-month plan and 12-month plan are identical in all but duration, I’d choose a 1-month plan.

Good luck choosing.

The SIM only deals I see on the iD web site shows £8/month for 1-month rolling contact with 10GB data.
The 1-month £8 with 12GB data might be through a third-party channel and not directly from iD.

Hi Andewhite - yes, the deal was on the USWITCH website - I don’t quite understand how they can give different contracts (or arrange them). Thanks a lots also for the other advice - makes sense.
