I’ve been on a sim only contract with ID mobile for nearly 4 years. I’ve upgraded from the sim only contract to a phone contract with ID. My question is will I get a new SIM card in the post to use and will my old sim only contract be automatically discontinued and replaced with my new phone contract? Or do I continue using my old SIM card?

+26If you upgraded then you can continue to use your old SIM card…
ID Mobile do send a new blank SIM card with your handset but you do not need to activate if if your happy to continue using the old SIM card. Keep it safe though because it will come in handy as a spare SIM card should anything happen wto the old one. 👍

If you’ve upgraded your SIM only plan via the app or iD My Account online, then your new phone will come with a new SIM.
You should be able to use your old SIM in your new upgrade, if the existing SIM card fits and you prefer to do so - although iD recommend activating the new one.

I’ve just replied to your other topic also regarding your upgrade. A new SIM is sent with upgrades incase you change your phone and you can activate it when it arrives.
