Welcome to iD Mobile! Here’s everything you need to know about getting up and running with your new SIM or eSIM.

How do I get started with my SIM?

Our physical SIM cards fit all phones. Just choose the size you need (Standard, Micro, or Nano), pop it out of the holder, and slide it into your phone.

What to do next depends on why you have a new SIM:

  • New to iD Mobile?
Good news! Your SIM arrives pre-activated. Just pop it in and start using it straight away.
  • Replacement SIM?
If you requested a replacement SIM (because your old one was lost, stolen, or damaged), you'll need to activate it manually before it will work. Click here to find out how.
  • Just upgraded?
If you've upgraded but kept your phone, you can carry on using your old SIM card. Your new plan will update automatically within 24 hours.

Need your SIM card number?

You can find your 19-digit number on the back of the card holder (under the barcode) or on the back of the SIM itself.

Please note: If you're reading the number directly off the small SIM card, it might only be 11 digits long. To get the full number, you need to add '89442001' to the start.

How do I get started with my eSIM?

An eSIM is just a digital version of a physical SIM. It's easier, more secure, and better for the environment. Here’s how to get connected:

  1. Get your QR Code: We’ll send you an email with a QR code to download your eSIM.
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi: You need an internet connection to download the profile.
  3. Scan and Download: Go to your phone's Settings (look for Mobile Service or Connections), select Add eSIM, and scan the QR code from your email.

Please note: If you ordered a new phone with your eSIM, wait until the phone arrives before trying to download it. If you're on a SIM Only plan, you can start as soon as you get the email!
