Please help me to remove  cap on my calls, I do not understand why I cannot make calls because I have a package calls and minutes unlimited and when I wanted to make a call I had an automated VOICE that I have to pay or remove a cap, cannot find where it is. Please help.  I have been using it just about 10 days, and there is no option to ask a human being what do I need to do ro be able to make calls.

Hi @Elizabeth Ablett 👋🏻

I am assuming that your are trying to call numbers that are outside of those included in the ‘unlimited’ package e.g. 0870/0845 etc
As these are ‘paid for’ numbers then you will need to increase the cap amount in your account so that these can be charged to you when called.

This is the link to help with changing the cap amount for your account

https://community.idmobile.co.uk/controls%2Dlimits%2D192/how%2Ddo%2Di%2Dset%2Dor%2Dchange%2Dmy%2Dbill%2Dcap%2D44440

Here is the information with regards to call charges:-
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/call-charges

Hope this helps x x

No, the numbers were  07893953664 and 07700131308 - they are numbers to hire a skip close to my area, usual the UK numbers.

Finally I have found from their website chat that ID does not support ALL the Uk networks, and for those networks I have to pay extra.

So far, ID network is not reliable. Poor service. I could not hire the skip today.

WOW 😲
Like yourself, I also didn’t realise that some mobile network numbers were not covered by the ‘unlimited’ terms.

I just had another look at the link I included for the call charges and found the information for the ‘non-standard’ 07 numbers:-
https://media.secure-mobiles.com/idmobile/documents/non-standard-07-numbers-v2.pdf

This is so confusing as I assumed that most (not all) 07 numbers were for contact to a mobile phone.

So sorry you had such trouble x

to

Thank you for more information, I found “my” concern number in the list you provided,  in the left column, but not sure what info in the right column means.

I agree, it is very confusing, the number looks as a standard UK number but it appears that it is NOT.

I never came across with this before, I was previously with EE.  Now this new ID nework does not support many numbers which looks as standard, but they go under the section “out of range”.

Just debating to cancel the contract and go to my previous provider.

You can call your company and ask them to take the cap off but this will cost you more money when your bills arrive.

I know that, I can remove the cap on their website myself, I am trying to avoid  this and find out what UK  numbers looking as a standard mobile are actually chargeable.

I have posted a link above that tells you exactly what 07 numbers iD Mobile charges for and how much they cost per minute @Elizabeth Ablett.

Thank you very much, I have looked at it very closely and saved it to my files.
