HI all. I am a new customer on the 10gb for £10 deal. I was hoping to use this SIM in a TP-link 4G Mifi device in my car. Everything seemed to work fine for the first 400mb but now the Sim can't connect to the network anymore unless put back in to my phone.

I did my research before buying and tethering/hotspots are allowed so what is going on here?

ID Mobile does not mind if you try using tethering but it does not provide official support for this feature. If you are able to get it to work then you can use it without any repercussions but ID Mobile does not offer guidelines to set it up. Furthermore ID Mobile deals are created for usage in mobile phones not in MiFi Devices, that's another thing that isn't officially supported by provider. To conclude, ID Mobile does not punish customers for using Hotspot but also they do not help if there isn't something working.

Here is very lengthy post from @Mohammed explaining a lot about Tethering.

Kind Regards
