I’ve recently been looking at the “Unlimited” PAYG option, ive been on chat with an agent and they claim that it is perminent and that ill never have to top up and thats that.

Can anyone who has this please tell me wether or not this really is true?

You probably need to check for any gotchas in the current PAYG terms & conditions, which are found online at https://www.idmobile.co.uk/legal/terms-and-conditions.

Caveat emptor @Harry Bagg

I agree but as far as I’m aware. There’s no specifics on this deal.

So @Harry Bagg, the unlimited allowance with your PAYG unlimited SIM lasts for 1-month, then expires.

At this point you’d need another bundle to use your handset.

Good luck @Harry Bagg

Maybe - it’s actually covered in the Contract Information.

This is what i was talking about when its really vague. It says “or untill you have used up all allowances” so does it last or doesnt it?

It’ll last for 1-month, or less time if you use up your allowances.

Obviously, with unlimited allowances, it’s 1-month that governs the duration.

The iD web site is full of little inconsistencies, so be careful @Harry Bagg.

Hey @Harry Bagg,

The “or until you use up your allowances” refers to any plans that do not have an unlimited aspect to it.

We used to have a 5.00 option which had a set number of minutes, texts and data.

It was therefore possible to use up all the allowances before the bundle expired.

We only have unlimited minutes, texts and x data options now.
