Double up on data upgrade

I am currently on a £5 a SIM only monthly rolling contract with 1.5gb of data. I'd like to sign up to the Double Up On Data promo of £6 a month (rolling contract) with 20gb of data. 

I think the promo is only for existing customers taking out an additional plan. 

Thinking of signing up to the promo plan and unsubscribe my current plan. Then transfer my number. Is that possible? 

To the ID moderators, is there a way to just upgrade to the promo plan rather than the above?

    Hey there ​@Jampie07, unfortunately, you cannot transfer your number from one iD plan to another I’m afraid. The only way of doing so directly is to order an upgrade or plan change when logged into your account.

     

    Or, you can order the new plan, and complete a triangle port, where you transfer your number to another network on Pay As You Go, then back to us on the new plan.
