Want to upgrade from one sim only contract to another sim only contract that's cheaper. Can I do it without leaving and rejoining ID mobile?

Unfortunately @peterupfold, iD Mobile can’t / won’t transfer a number from iD contract to another iD contract. 

To switch the number, you want to keep, to a cheaper iD SIM only contract, you’d need to port out (leave) then port back (rejoin).

Hi @peterupfold 

 

You’ll need to be on a plan for at least 6 months before being able to upgrade, it may also be worth checking for plan change options.

 

Please note the above from @andewhite however, if you do decide to purchase a new iD Mobile plan instead, you won’t be able to transfer your number directly across.
