It looks like you don’t understand my question. Ofcom has banned price rises from being linked to the inflation rate. So annual increase must be fixed amount. Like Vodafone will increase £1.80 in April Annually, Three will increase £1.50 in April Annually. So how much iD mobile will increase in April?

The new rules are coming from 17th January. But I still don't see any updates in your above link. Please check again.

Welcome to the Community!

Ofcom is banning companies from providing inflation-linked price rises, and price rises that are set out in percentage terms in contracts purchased from 17th January 2025 onwards.  Instead, any price rises during the contract period, must be set out up-front in pounds and pence, including when any changes to prices will occur.

iD purchases made prior to 14th Jan ‘25 will still be subject to CPI +3.9%. iD purchases on or after 14th Jan ‘25 will be subject to the new Fixed Price Increase T&Cs.

That's what I wanted to know. Thanks for clear reply. 

And another question is: 

When should I buy a new contract so that my line rental doesn't increase in April by £1.50. What is the exact date. Because I don't want my line rental to increase in April 2025. So I am willing to wait until that date before I buy a new contract. It will save me £36 in two years time.

If you purchase your new contract from today on wards, you will not be impacted by the 2025 price increase. 

Any increases in 2026 will still apply.

When I go to the website mobiles.co.uk, it says prices will increase in April. When I spoke to mobiles.co.uk on their phone number, adviser said sim only prices will not increase in April, but if I buy contract with handset, the line rental will increase in April. I want to buy contract with handset. 

I am not able to send you print screen as that option is not available here.
