Upgrade sim only to new phone contract

Hi, I currently have a SIM only monthly contract that I have had for over a year. I want to get a new phone and remain with ID. I have seen a 24 month contract deal with Carphone Warehouse stilll with ID, I wish to retain my mobile number is this possible? If so how do I go about it?

Unfortunately it wouldn’t be possible to transfer a number directly from iD Mobile to iD Mobile, to retain a number, we’d recommend an upgrade.

    The iD telephone sales team might be able to match the Carphone Warehouse deal, ​@Henrybp. 

    Speak to iD sales between 9am - 6pm, by calling 020 7139 1397. 

    Just to say, if iD sales can’t help you and you decide to buy from Carphone Warehouse, you’ll get a new connection to the iD network, with a new mobile number.

    Unfortunately ​@Henrybp, iD can’t/won’t transfer a mobile number from one iD contract to another iD contract.
