Make sure roaming is active on your phone and iD account. You need to connect to either Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, PT XL Axiata, or PT. Hutchison 3 Indonesia.

Can someone please help. My wife who is currently in Indonesia Jakarta is unable to be contacted on mobile voice call nor text. She has set cap to £10 but not enabled data roaming as we think that for this, it shouldn't need to be data roaming to be enabled.
Can someone please confirm? We just need her to be able to be contacted from here. She doesn't need to be able to make calls back to UK. Thanks

+24Hey there, have you enabled roaming on the iD app/website, and also via your own settings? Have you also tried restarting the phone and resetting network settings?

Hi, if we have to enable roaming which will obviously start to chew into my cap, just so that I can be reachable on voice call from UK, doesn’t that mean that I will ended up spending loads into the cap just to be on “standby”? This is data roaming setting you meant right?

Your spend cap will be used once roaming is enabled and data/call/texts are used.

Yes, you will likely be charged for staying on standby roaming in Indonesia with us. While we do include roaming in our plans for 50 destinations, Indonesia is not one of them. Therefore, you'll incur charges for using your iD Mobile SIM in Indonesia, even if you're just letting it sit on standby.
