Does a new contract put the fair usage policy back to day one?

I will reach the limit of 63 days roaming in 4 a month period before the end of my next holiday.

Does a new contract put the fair usage policy back to day one, or do I need to move to Lebara?

I can find lots of answers about how many GB I can use abroad but none about this.

Thanks!

Hey there @Pogle, I believe the fair usage policy is on a contract-to-contract basis, so a new contract should reset the fair usage policy. However of course, if we notice that a customer keeps buying a new plan to avoid these charges, then we may become aware of this and either stop the customer from continually ordering new plans, or set up the fair usage right away on the new plan.

However, as long as you’re not continually taking advantage of this, you should be fine with 1-more new plan.

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi, the new contact did seem to reset the policy and we completed our holiday without any problems. Thanks.
