issue with data roaming in france

I’m travelling to France again this year the last time I was there my phone would only connect to the hotel WiFi and would not work with Roaming can you help?

​@Sparky1  Hello there just make sure before you travel out of the UK that you've activated your roaming and set any caps before hand. Here is information on how to do this.
