Roaming charges when calls forwarded?

I have a pixel 9 will dual sim - ID mobile esim (personal) and vodaphone physical sim (business)

I am about to travel to the US, so roaming charges would apply on my ID mobile plan. If I set up call forwarding on my ID Mobile number to redirect to my work number prior to leaving the UK, and switch off my ID mobile sim on the Pixel, would I be charged roaming calls for any calls that are forwarded from the ID mobile number to the vodaphone number or would my unlimited calls cover this as technically the ID mobile wouldn't be roaming?

Also how do I switch on and off call forwarding on ID mobile?

Thank you for getting in touch.

We are currently checking this from our side as we do believe there would still be charges for the calls to be forwarded to the number that you are using for roaming.

To confirm, are you checking if your account would be charged for receiving the calls? Also, will you have disabled roaming on the iD mobile eSIM prior to leaving the UK?

To enable call forwarding on the Pixel 9 -

Tap on the SIM Icon for which you need to configure call forwarding. You will have the following options: FIxed dialing numbers. Now, tap on Call forwarding > Voice. It will reveal Always forward, When busy, When unanswered, When unreachable.

Hi I am checking if I would be charged for forwarding calls to another UK mobile number that is roaming, if my ID mobile number is forwarded to that other number when I am still The UK and the id mobile esim switched off whilst still in the UK before leaving.for the US
