texts from UK to Ireland not being received

Whenever I try and text my mum in Ireland, the text sends and I get a message saying I will be charged for the text, so it appears to send  ok, but the texts are never received by mum. However, I receive the texts she sends me.  I have a Samsung s22, she has a 4g Doro phone. We have checked all the network settings on both phones, roaming etc and also spoke with her network provider in Ireland who says that as she is able to send texts that are received ok, the issue must be with ID mobile. There is no issuing with making and receiving calls between UK and Ireland.  Any thoughts?

Are you using the correct international dialling prefix? Additionally, ensure you increase your spend cap and enable the International option from within your iD Mobile online account.

 

Is it possible that your mum has accidentally blocked your number?

Yes, correct number with country code is being used, international option turned on, spend cap at max and my number definitely not blocked.  I can call her it, is just the texts that are not going through.  My husband who is also in ID mobile has same issue.

To clarify, you don’t get an error at all when sending the texts, and it suggest it’s send your end, just not received her end?
