My contract ended with you in July, however I had already paid for whole month so have overpaid you and I’d like it back, I’ve tried phoning to speak to someone, but there is nobody to speak to. Also the live chat is not working. How can I get the money back?

My contract with id mobile was due to end so I requested a pac in order for me to keep my number when I move over to a new network. I thought I had sent the pac to my new network although I must not have done it correctly as the number never switched over. Whilst I was waiting for the switch over, the contract with id rolled on for another month and the pac expired. (I didn’t realise I had to cancel plan). To avoid paying for two contacts any longer, I cancelled the id contract on the app. The contract has now ended and the number is now disconnected. Because of this I can longer text for a new pac. I have limited access on the app and there is no way of contacting id right now. I have spoken to my new network to see if they can help. Unfortunately they can’t although they did advise that if it was their network that I was in this situation with, they would be able to give me the number back for up to 90 days. Is id the same so that I can get it back once they reopen? Is there anyway I

I am thinking of changing my monthly plan. If I look at the FAQ’s it says no price increases with ID (see below). But when I start the process it says prices increase with the RPI, which is correct? Can the monthly cost of my SIM Only deal change? Not with iD Mobile. Most other major networks such as EE, Three, Vodafone, and O2 increase the price of their SIM Only deals each year with inflation or RPI (Retail Price Index).

Hi everyone 👋🏼 I’m travelling to Mexico, and as my phone is showing as unlocked and is a compatible handset, I was planning to get an esim (using the nomad app), so that I can have data whilst there and not have another number for the trip etc. However, when searching to triple check eligibility, I saw that maybe I can’t get an esim with ID mobile even though I have an iPhone 13, is this correct? As I’m travelling alone I’d prefer to be able to keep tracking services, maps and Uber usable, but it looks like roaming will cost me! thanks, Sarah

My monthly account of £5.00 has always been adequate - until last month (mid-September onwards). Monthly usage is now exceeded despite no change in activity. It seems to eat up a lot of data even when idle and thanks to ‘usage’ limit being exceeded I now have a £30.99 bill to pay for the current month. I have uninstalled some apps and switched off almost all remaining applications bar email, Twitter and Test and Trace, yet the phone continues to eat up usage. I do not want to be charged £30+ monthly for something I rarely use. Can someone help me get this down to ‘normal’ usage please? Regards Ken

Let me tell you my story: I found ID mobile in 2018 through some comparison tools like uSwitch. I decided to order a SIM card to switch from my provider at the time. I've completed my order online and ordered the SIM card to arrive by post. Meanwhile, I called my provider who offered me a better deal and decided to stick with them. Note that I have never received the SIM card from ID mobile and in January 2019 I noticed on my bank account some payments towards a company which I didn't recognised so closed the direct debit ID Mobile then contacts me to say I have missed a payment. I call back immediately saying I have never received the SIM card, never used their service and don’t know how I’ve ended up in a contract with them or why should I pay for the service. They agree to close my contract and give me a full refund of the previous payments. To be, this means, case closed. They admitted there has been a misunderstanding, and I was never supposed to pay in the first place. Over 3 yea

Can i call a French mobile number and a French landline number whilst i am in France on my unlimited UK mobile phone call allowance on holiday with my ID mobile Sim Only Monthly Pay as you go Card? Or will it cost me more?

I had a pre-existing phone and iD sim contract, and I have just bought a new phone and new iD sim contract. I would like to port my old iD number to my new phone, but it won’t let me use a PAC to port the number from one iD sim to another - is it possible to do this? I really need to keep my old number. I am very happy to have switched to your network , there are only two things that concern meThe first is: I have a problem with sending messages. I send a text message and I get a notification that the message could not be sent, and despite the notification some messages are sent anyway, but it is annoying because I do not know which messages have been sent and which notThe other thing is that I wanted to leave my old number, I transferred it to you and it is still my main number, but when I send a message or make a call it is the number you assigned to me (it doesn't work every time either), could you please check this?I would be very grateful

Hello. In Mid January 2022 I got diagnosed with Severe Sleep Apnoea (With Evidence). I was under a sim contract with ID Mobile from December 2021 but only a month contract and can leave at anytime after that first month contract ended. I stayed with ID Mobile because my previous provider had problems with where I live and the Virgin Sim was in between two mobile masts and there was a problem with one of the masts and when my Virgin Mobile Sim connected to that particular mast I would lose service or the reception was very poor. I decided to change service providers and came onto ID Mobile. I would lose reception with ID Mobile also quite often during phone calls and some of these calls were important, Hospital, Drs ETC. It got to a point when it really started to annoy me. I wanted to speak to an actual person as regards the problem, but could not find any way on the ID Mobile website to do this, no link or number I could contact. Bought ur service for £20 per month unlimited data rolling contract. The Internet is abysmal, I can't even browse the Web it gets speeds of 200kbps like I'm back in 2004 or something like 1g technology. Can't even cancel through the app, gives me this error " Invalid Request, Validating the request has been failed with CMP6 details". All the while the live chats don't work and literally there's no other way to contact you guys about this... Can you have the decency to cancel my contract ASAP and refund me for the first month which I've been able to do nothing and ended up using my remaining EE allowance for data which actually has good speeds and delivers 4g. I upgraded to a new handset about 6 months ago and, on the advice of ID customer services kept my old SIM rather than switch to the new one. Everything’s been fine until today when I downloaded the ID Mobile app for the first time on my new handset. I then received a text message saying “Good news! Your new SIM card is now in the process of being activated…” Since then I’ve now no service on my phone so assume the current (“old”) SIM has been deactivated. I’m now away from my new and unwanted SIM card (still in its envelope) for over a week and really need to be able to use my phone. I’ve no idea what has caused the apparent deactivation of the old SIM but would be really grateful if there’s any way it could be reactivated. Wisdom very gratefully received! Thank you.

Hi there, I'm looking to join ID and one of the reasons is because EU roaming is included. I've noticed that the rules are changing for a lot of networks from march and they are going back to charging for roaming like the old days. Is ID going to be the same? Thanks

My contract ended on the 23rd February 2022. And I have requested a pac to switch to a new network provider. but my final bill shows I am in credit so I was wondering how I can get that refunded. Thank you.

I have the month to month unlimited everything plan . However texts always worry me. If I send pics or videos on text to other users in the USA, regardless of type of phone or network they have, will I be charged. Also if people from USA send texts, pics / vids to me will I be charged?

I think I need a new SIM card…… or help to get this one working properly in my new phone. SO I got a new Android phone for Christmas…… It works fine in my old Samsung phone, but if I put it in the new phone, i can make calls, send messages - BUT not use the mobile data. Sorry if that didn’t make sense. I’m moving to 3 mobile, I know 3 is the parent company of ID so can I leave early and keep my number all the same or is it the same as moving to any new provider that I’ll need to wait until my contract ends and have a PAC code etc? Thanks :)

Hi, I got a new iD Mobile SIM and ported in my number from Smarty. The port date was yesterday, Friday 19th June 2020. My new SIM was working fine yesterday morning. Then around midday the old number ported to the new SIM. The old SIM went dead and so I threw it away. In the app dashboard it successfully shows my old number having replaced the temporary one. However I cannot make calls or receive calls, and there is no data connection (the icon does not appear), and I cannot send or receive texts. It shows "iD" as the network operator but I can't seem to access the network. I have reset the network settings on my Android phone. I have restarted the phone many times. I have tried the SIM in my wife's phone and have the same problem. Her SIM works fine in my phone. I am a hospital doctor and I came to iD Mobile because of the NHS promotion. But now I need my phone as I'm on shift at work in A&E and my number is dead :-( Please advise / help!!!
