Sometimes when you switch your number, the temporary mobile number that came with your new SIM remains in the settings of your phone. This should normally update itself to the correct number after restarting your phone, but in instances where it doesn’t please follow these steps:

Sometimes, your iPhone may not have the correct mobile number saved. Follow the steps below to check, and if needed, update it:

  1. Open ‘Settings’.

  2. Tap ‘Phone’.

  3. Tap ‘My Number’.

  4. Enter your mobile number, using +44 instead of the first 0.

  5. Tap ‘Save’.

Please note: If you can’t enter the correct number, go to: Settings > Apple ID > Sign-In & Security > Email & Phone Numbers. Tap 'Add a Phone Number' and enter the correct number.
