Hello. Planning to leave ID from September this year basically when my contract is ending. Do I need to give a notice?

If your contract ends on August 5th with us, and you don’t want to be charged past the expiration date, you’d need to ask them to complete the switch on the 5th of August. If you did the 6th, you’d be charged for that day individually as the contract was still active that day, however, if that was the case, the charge would only be one line-rental day, which would probably more likely be a charge in the pennies opposed to the pounds.

Hello , thank you for your answer. But the article you sent to me doesn't say anything how to give you a notice ? Is there any emails or numbers to do so as I want this to be sorted now so you have my notice

Hi ​@Elina Andersone, we require 30-days notice if you plan to just disconnect and lose your number. Therefore, to do this, simply login to the iD Mobile app/website and click that you want to disconnect. Once clicked, you’ll disconnect 30-days after the date you do so. 

 

The above link sent by my colleague shows you how to request a 30-day disconnection.

Ok. I did red about disconnection. How do I do it if I want to disconnect from the date my contract ends and keep my number and make sure you won't charge me for another month after ?

Hey there ​@Elina Andersone, if you want the contract to end on the expiry date, you’ll need to request a disconnection via the app/website 30-days before that date. If it’s already closer than 30-days, then you’ll need to set it up today so it ends 30-days from today, but it’d be past the expiry date I’m afraid.

 

If you wish to cancel on your contract end date and keep your phone number and transfer it elsewhere, you’d simply just need to request a PAC code, purchase a new contract with a new network and give them the PAC code, and ask them to complete the number transfer on the date of your contract expiry with us, so you’re not charged anything further than the expiry date.

Sorry to bother you again ,but if my contract ends on the 5th of August do I need to request transfer to another operator on the date of 5th or 6th ?
