Question

I NEED A PAC CODE BUT KEEP GETTING ERROR MESSAGE

I have been trying for a week to get a pac code to keep my id mobile number when my contract ends next week. I tried everything, through the app, using the shortcode and dob, and live chat - where I was basically lied to after being on chat for half an hour and told it was resolved and would come through shortly, only for the same error message! Message as follows: Hi JAMES, we've encountered an issue processing your PAC request. This could be due to required maintenance or an unexpected system issue. Please try again later. We apologise for any inconvenience - iD Mobile

ID mobile, please assist urgently, I need this PAC code sorted! Regards

@Lamiya C as I've already mentioned, I've been trying these methods for over a week and still keep getting error messages on every attempt. I need someone to look into this as it's clearly an issue of some description and my contact ends tomorrow

I also already attempted live chat and was lied to, being told it was resolved and that I'd receive a pac code shortly which never arrived, just in order to end the chat!

Absolutely diabolical service, have spoken to customer services multiple times and still no resolution, waiting for a call back that no doubt never comes, just like the last! Just excuse after excuse!

    Hi @Helpmepls79,

I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with this I completely understand how frustrating and stressful this must be, especially when it’s affecting your ability to keep your number and manage your finances. You should not be facing these delays or repeated errors.

    Please kindly follow these steps:

    1. Text the word PAC to 65075 from your iD Mobile SIM card.
    1. You will receive a text message back with your PAC code, which is valid for 30 days.
    1. If this doesn't work, try texting PAC followed by your date of birth in a DDMMYY format (e.g., PAC 010190) to 65075.

    Please also try:

    1. iD Mobile app or My Account Online https://my.idmobile.co.uk/login
    1. Open the iD Mobile app or log in to My Account Online.
    1. Go to the Plan section.
    1. Tap on Leave iD.
    1. Select Get PAC code and follow the on-screen prompts.

Alternatively, please use this link: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support/leaving-id#:~:text=To%20get%20a%20PAC%2C%20text,PAC%20to%20your%20new%20provider.

Please get in touch via our Socials (Facebook or Instagram), Live Chat, Community, or email us at socialqueries@idmobile.co.uk. We’d love the opportunity to put things right for you.

I have already tried all of these options, multiple times with the same results - an error message. There is clearly a deeper issue here, which nobody seems to be capable of resolving.
