I want to get a Google Pixel 6A, but my sim must support 5G.  How do I know if this phone will work with my idmobile SIM?

Hi @jillikins48

All new iD Mobile SIMs support 5G! Although it is worth noting it doesn’t look like we currently support 5G on the Pixel 6a, sorry!

I’ll link a list of all our supported 5G devices here.

Thanks. I was thinking that but wanted to check that my understanding was right. 😞

It’s also worth noting the Google Pixel 6a is not yet listed on iD Mobile’s approved handsets list, which is online at https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/approved-handsets.

What a crazy situation, given iD Mobile are selling the Google Pixel 6a as an iD contract handset - come on iD Mobile, get this sorted please.

Okay @Tom - what’s going on with Google Pixel 6a?

iD Mobile are selling the Pixel 6a on contract, but this phone isn’t even on iD Mobile’s approved handset list. Why not?
