ESim not working

I have recently got a replacement phone as mine was stolen, got an eSIM and had no trouble installing it to my iphone. The problem is on some apps (some apps only sometimes some never work) it says i have no connection, i’ve searched and tried many ways to fix this, sometimes it works to go on airplane mode for 10s and back off, but need to do it every time i go on the app, does anyone know what’s wrong??
