When I put my new SIM card into my iPhone 13. It says “no sim”. However when I use my old sim from my previous provider the sim is recognised.

I have tried the sim in multiple headsets now. None seem to recognise there is a sim in the device. What can I do to sort this? Thanks.

Hello @Ryce

Thank you for getting in touch.

We are sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your SIM not working.

Are you able to pop it in to another handset just to check if you get the same issue?

We are always happy to help on the community but the quickest way to have most issues addressed is to speak with our Live Chat team here

Hey there @Ryce, as kindly advised by @andewhite, it does seem like a new SIM card would help, and the article he linked should assist you in getting one.

Any issues in doing so, please let us know.

Thanks,

Tyler

I have just been to pick up my new SIM card. Tried to activate it. But I need a code which was sent to my number. But I can’t use the number because the SIM card doesn’t work. So what should I do

Hi @Ryce,

Have you tried activating it via the iD Mobile App or the link?

We would advise activating the SIM via your account.

If you are still having issues, please let us know and we can PM you.

I’m still having issues. I need a code to login to my account which is sent to my number. But due to the sim being faulty I can’t use the number to receive the code. I’ve tried cancelling and I can’t even cancel because I need a number to call the right people.
