Incorrect service provider shown in settings.

If I go into my phone settings my phone

service provider is still showing as my previous provider which was O2. I have been with Id mobile for 14 days now and thought it would have changed to Id by now. I have restarted the phone several times and reinserted the sim card but no change.  Will my phone be running at its best like this on on settings?

Thanks if anyone can help clarify this please

Hey there @Halfwaymark, have you tried resetting network settings?

Have you removed/deleted the O2 SIM card?

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi, yes I have done all these suggestions several times thanks, I even tried the sim card in slot 2 but no difference.

My phone does say I'd on the home screen it's just in the settings it still says service provider O2.

The phone was is a Samsung Galaxy A15 only the 4G version, also bought as sim free.

Seems to work ok, just seemed odd.

Thanks

Hi @Halfwaymark

Thank you for confirming.

The network reset should have changed the settings to reflect the correct provider.

Is your phones software up to date? Is everything working well when using the network with iD Mobile?

Hi, tried resetting  networks again and still no different, so then without switching the phone off I removed the sim card, reset the network settings, put the sim card back in and the O2 service provider in the settings has gone. This was 2 days ago, the phone has been switched on and off a couple of times since and all seems good.

Thanks to Natalie & Tyler for their response  and suggestions to help me.
