OK @Subadushane  let me dumb this down for you…

4G is the ‘label’ for the network but (Vo)LTE is the ‘actual’ type of network used
e.g. ‘Vehicle’ is a label for a car BUT, as an example, ‘Ford Focus’ is the actual type of car!

As I replied to another post for the same query you posted…..

Can you still send/receive text messages and use your data? As these will still connnect and you will be able to use them even without VoLTE being connected. If they don’t then it is another problem other than the connection to the Vo(LTE) network and this determine the help you need.

Have you checked to see that VoLTE is enable on your phone?

As your phone is supported for use on the VoLTE (4G) iD Mobile network then everything should work.

You could also try requesting a replacement SIM as this could be the problem.
Please be aware that your account will be put on hold (you will be unable to use that number) until the new SIM has been activated.

There are a few different ways to get a replacement SIM. Here’s everything you need to know:

How do I get a replacement SIM?

If your SIM card doesn't fit your phone, or it's been lost or stolen, you’ll need a replacement. To get a replacement SIM card, you can:

  • Visit any Currys store.

Find your nearest store and head to the ‘Mobile’ section. One of our helpful Tech Experts will issue you a replacement SIM card.

  • Chat to us.

Our Live Chat team are able to issue you a replacement SIM card, which will be sent in the post to the account holder’s address.

Once you receive your replacement SIM card, you’ll need to activate it. Check out the steps in the article below:

Evening to you @Subadushane We're always sorry for our members having a bad experience with products or network service. One of the ways to speak to someone is to login the Live Chat and in the message box type Speak to someone and a IDMobile agent will get in contact for you. Also I shall forward this message to a member of IDMobile on your behalf.

Have you also checked network coverage and network status for you postal area to see if your covered or if there are any known issues reported?

Hi @Subadushane

Have you checked the coverage for your area? Has the 3G signal been turned off in your area recently?
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage

Is your handset on the approved list?
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/approved-handsets

What phone do you have?

Do you VoLTE enabled on your phone? You need to connect to LTE (AKA VoLTE - Voice over LTE) to make/receive calls. 4G is only a label given to the 4th Generation network but LTE is the type of connection used.
Can you still send/receive texts and use your data? If so, this points to the fact that VoLTE (LTE)/4G Calling is not enable on your phone.

Let us know if we can help you further x

Morning @Subadushane. If the phone was bought from us, it will be approved.

  1. To confirm: Which Make & Model phone do you have?
  2. Are you new to iD Mobile and haven’t been able to make calls since you joined, or have you been with us for a while and suddenly can’t make calls?

I’d advise following the troubleshooting steps in this article:

Thanks.

Just to say, stopping the direct debit won’t end your iD contract, @Subadushane

if you want to end your contract with iD Mobile, you’ll need to give iD 30-days notice of cancellation.

These community articles might help, and good luck with any legal action.

Hello don’t bs your customers anymore this is not the first phone most of us are using and only with ID we have this issue

Don’t take your customers as idiots for gods sake

I don’t want to send any more information what information you need from me more so that ID can continue to con me  further

last resort send what ever new e sim and I can activate once and when I receive that if I do  let’s see

there is no one who has the decency to call your customers after ripping off £50 every month and can’t make the basic feature of a mobile which is making and receiving calls

trying to talk all the stupid jargon and technology don’t ridicule people and rip money off

I hope all these customers whom you are conning can gather to sue you

what a show can you believe how much issues you are causing I have missed important interview calls can’t make a call to a work place to inform for an emergency my children school cannot call me for an emergency you are putting lives at danger

please do not establish a business like this
