I’ve taken out a new contract and received a new SIM with a new phone number (for my daughter).
We’ve set up her IPhone 11 but cannot activate iMessage or FaceTime. We’ve tried all the recovery suggestions and contacted Apple. They have advised the number provided is blocked from message and FaceTime due to reported spam and that's the reason we are facing this issue.
I'm hoping they will unblock buy they’ve said they cannot guarantee this but will be clear in 24 hours. There other suggestion is that I ask ID mobile for a new phone number !
has anyone else had similar issues and resolved please?
