Hi

Im not receiving text messages on my Samsung 25, I've done everything I've read on the site. If I change to RCS chst it appears to work fine.

Once I turn RCS off, they receive my text but I don't receive anything back

Hey there, @DDavee J LLcey, @Leelee80 @SCRFC, sorry to hear this.

We had been made aware of an issue with some customers receiving texts since last Wednesday, however, this appears to have been resolved now.

Can you all confirm if you’re still facing the same issue or not?

We sincerely apologise for any inconveniences caused.

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi

IThanks, 've done all of that and still no joy. I can send on RCS but no other type of text, could this be that Samsung are using Google for text messages now?

Im the exact same since Friday. My mum and both kids have sent me text messages and I haven't received any of them which is NOT good. New to this network for a few months and I've had nothing but issues from terrible reception, not able to make calls and now I can't reckeve texts. It's a 2 Yr contract aswel and I'm really regretting leaving my old provider now.

I can however recieve texts from my brother who is also with id mobile?

Hope its fixed asap

Exactly. This is my 2nd time with this issue from mid January. I had 2 days then when I couldn't make calls or recieve calls. The reception has been really bad on and off where I've had to end the call and re call through my whatsapp. Why are we paying for a service that isn't working? A very basic service such as texting and calling!! When i was with o2 if any issues they would take something off the monthly bill whereas this has been an issue since Friday and its only today where it's been acknowledged there is an issue with id mobile. It makes me regret leaving my last provider for the sake of saving £6 a month 😩

For the past 2 weeks, I’ve been having trouble receiving text messages, often come through 2 or 3 days later, which isn’t great when you were waiting for reply’s

tried the usual things, but nothing seems to rectify the situation.

Thank you @DDavee J LLcey

Our system hasn't reported any network issues.

Can you please try the following?

1) Open Messages, go to Settings (top right, Message Settings), open "Chat Features" or "RCS Chats", verify if this is the correct number or not.

2) If it shows the incorrect one, then head to: https://messages.google.com/disable-chat and you should be able to unregister the number.

Once done, turn off the Chat Features/RCS and the phone. Wait a few minutes and turn the device back on and re-enable Chat Features/RCS it should let you re-register/update to the correct number.

Alternatively, you can turn Chat Features/RCS off and test SMS after this.

Thanks,

Natalie
