Sim only upgrade

I'm currently due an upgrade on my monthly contract, I intend to keep my existing phone and have thus purchased a sim only deal with I'D Mobile, I stated I would retain the same mobile number, but wish to Confirm that my existing monthly contract will now end and be replaced with the sim only package.

Hi ​@Simonhart is it a SIM only upgrade you purchased, or have you purchased a new SIM only plan?

Yeah, I contacted ID and it appears it was a new sim only plan. I've now cancelled and will do the correct upgrade in a few weeks when eligible. Thanks anyway..
