Taking out a new contract as an existing sim only customer

Hi,

 

I have found a deal for a new contract I am interested in. It’s for an ID Mobile contract, but sold via a 3rd party website.

I am on an existing, rolling 1 monthly, SIM only deal with ID Mobile. I’d like to port my number across to this new contract.

Have requested a PAC code but, when trying to enter it when purchasing the new contract, I receive the message 

“It looks like you want to switch your number on the network you already use.You can’t use a PAC code on a network you already use. Consider upgrading your tariff or contact your network directly to discuss.”

 

What is the best way to proceed with this so I keep my number but ‘switch’ over to this new plan?
