‘Unable to process information given for PAC code’

My dad ordered me a new phone and I got a new SIM with it, we got the pac code from our old provider however when I put all the details in it’s saying unable to process information and to try again even though it’s all right. I made a separate account so it shouldn’t be under his name but it might be. Also when I went to create an account I gave the number ID gave me but it’s saying it’s incorrect?
