I’m having this same issue. 
airplane mode on, WiFi calling enabled, WiFi on (3 different networks tried) and get the pop up about disabling airplane mode or connecting to WiFi. 
apple stated it was an ID mobile issue not an apple issue

WiFi calling has been down all day. Probably linked to the mass outage that is currently ongoing with Three UK.

Hi,

I am also having issues getting WiFi Calling to work with my id mobile esim.

I have 2 sims on my Samsung S20 Ultra 5G (has all updates). The physical sim card from another operator works fine with WiFi Calling, so this rules out any issue with my Internet connection, router or handset.

I have also removed the physical sim card from the phone and left only the id mobile esim but no luck.

I have contacted ID mobile live chat support and they couldn't resolve the issue and asked me to contact Samsung.

Hard to believe this is a Samsung issue since it works with another sim card.

Does anyone have any ideas please? I really need this to work and running out of ideas.

Appreciate your help.

I already have it several times, the last being no more than 48 hours ago. There is no industry standard when it comes to Wi-Fi calling, and the majority of networks implement their own proprietary standard, which often uses different ports and protocols to deliver a service. However, it’s rare for Wi-Fi calling to fail to work. I’ve only seen it fail a handful of times, often due to people using old routers or business-grade internet connections with strict firewall policies.
 

Was your Samsung Ultra 5G purchased directly from Samsung, or was it supplied by another mobile network?

Thanks for your response. Appreciate the details provided.

Bought the handset directly from Samsung website.

I am unsure how to troubleshoot why it does not work with ID Mobile. ID Mobile Support (on live chat) asked me to do a few things on the handset but none work. I asked them if they can do anything on their end and the answer was no.

Are you aware of any app for android that could help understand what fails or any logs in the handset?
