Hi.. I am already a customer with ID but have swapped over from monthly to sim only. I want to keep my old number but all the help hints are if you are swapping networks. If I was to put my new sim In will it already be my old number or a new one?? Any help would be greatly appreciated .. thanks

How did you swap?

Did you use the change plan or upgrade plan option from the iD app or iD My Account online, while you were signed-in?

If the answer is yes, then you’ll keep your number and you can carry on using your existing SIM.

iD only send out a new SIM (inactive) in case your existing SIM doesn’t fit in the phone you intend to use after your change or upgrade.

There’s more on these topics in the following community articles:

  2. How do I change my plan?

Good luck.

Yes, you can keep your number. You’ll have to do it via the App or My Account page but it’s the same as you’re upgrading your handset pretty much except you’re changing to SIM only.
