Using eSIM on Current Handset Before Transferring to New Phone

Hi,

My eSIM is ready but not yet downloaded but my new phone won’t arrive until the end of December. Can I activate the eSIM on my current handset now and later transfer it to the new phone once it arrives?

Unfortunately ​@pandapinguino, an iD eSIM cannot be transferred directly from one phone to another phone. 

An iD eSIM must be downloaded onto the phone you’ll be using with your iD eSIM.

    Welcome and thanks for posting. 

    As ​@andewhite has confirmed, we cannot transfer an eSIM from one handset to another however, we can arrange for a replacement eSIM to be sent once you have received your new handset.
