Getting started with iD.

I want to switch my mobile number from O2 to ID Mobile using a PAC code. I get the following error when trying to submit the request for the switch. We’ve tried to process your PAC, but there’s an issue with the information that you’ve submitted. Please check that you have provided the correct details and try again. I’ve double checked the details and I‘m convinced that I’ve supplied the correct details. Can someone help?

I was on pay monthly but I got changed to payg. My account still says pay monthly and I can’t top up. how do I resolve this.

Want a new number all together but don’t want to lose my old one ?

Hello. New customer, new handset with e-sim, and pac day for my old number is today. I had the text from ID to say my port was complete and my O2 number has been disconnected, however I can’t receive calls to my new handset with my ID e-sim; calls to my number still go to O2, and even if I switch my old phone with the O2 sim in it off, they just go to my old O2 voicemail box. if I call or message from my new phone with my IDmobile e-sim though, it shows as coming from my ported number correctly. My old phone with the O2 sim in still shows as logged on to the O2 network when switched on. i have rebooted both devices. Has the port not worked properly or is there a lag between the text telling me everything has been done and everything actually being done? thanks in advance

I have just transferred from Sky to ID. I registered an eSim before the transfer I have tried everything up to resetting the network option. I have lost contact with two agents trying to sort this. I just want a phone line I can use

Hi so I changed from smarty to I’d and wanted to keep my number however on change day and after replaced 2nd sim for id I still can’t receive phone calls or SMS text , I can call after I turn WiFi off and my correct number shows I’m calling but no one can call me or text me, iMessage works and Apple confirmed all settings correct. I’m tempted to give phone back and leave as now 3 days without a usable phone.

Have been reading about so many number porting issues, seems to be a bit of a lottery, as my wife and son have had no problems so far. I should have had my Vodafone number ported to iD yesterday and even though my Vodafone number and account has disconnected, porting has yet to happen. Contacted various live chat agents yesterday (got cut off twice) who after suggesting it was a PAC issue with Vodafone, later admitted there was a “porting issue!!” found on my account and that Technical team would expedite my problem but take up to 48hrs to resolve. I did lodge a formal complaint last night which takes up to 7 working days to be looked into! My question is has everyone had their porting issue resolved eventually or should I be considering the fact that my old number is lost forever and I will have the laborious task of informing everyone I have contact with of a phone number change.

Hello, On the refer a friend page it's says earn up to £35 each for you and a friend. I've followed the instructions and referred a friend but we've only been rewarded with £5 each??? How do you get the £35 each?? Many thanks in advance 👍

I have started a new contract with ID mobile, switching over from O2. i got my welcome email form ID mobile and it included a new number even though I want to keep my old number. I used a pac code when i registered, so i wanted to verify that i will be keeping my old number

I'm struggling to sort out my number. I have switched my number via a pac code but the number issued by ID is showing on text messages. If I turn off rcs messages then it uses my correct number but left on ot defaults to the sim number. I've tried changing the number on settings but it defaults back to the wrong one. Please can someone tell me what else I can try?

I am 3 weeks into my ID mobile contract and my voice keeps cutting in WhatsApp, mobile and FaceTime calls. my sister has the exact same contract and phone and hadn’t had any issues…but I can see that others do here… Can anyone help?

i have been given a sim card at currys and would like to like to activate it for a data only for internet access on a boat i have a sim modem but would like to know how this works

I have been trying to set up voicemail but every pin I try is unacceptable. They have been been mostly 4 or 6 numbers which would mean something to me but not simple things like 1234 etc. What am I doing wrong.

Trying to find a transaction ID to port my number to ID. Need to do this asap. Any clue how I can get the email resent, or the transaction number provided any other way? TIA

Have just moved over to ID from EE and have been unable to make calls or send text messages. Returned to store and was given a replacement SIM card but still having same issues. Grateful for any assistance before returning to the store again. Thanks

Hi. I transferred to ID Mobile, and my aim contract starts tomorrow. When registering, I said I wanted to keep my old number, so I provided my PAC number. On one of the welcoming emails I received, it says I have a new number. Can anyone advise please?? thanks

Hi All, Just wanted to check if anyone has had a similar experience to mine. I have requested to port my number from my previous provider, obtained the PAC code and been through the online process for this. Switch day should have been Monday23rd. Didn’t happen. Tried twice more, Tuesday and Wednesday. Still hasn’t happened so am still waiting. My number still works on my old EE sim. I have not yet had a ‘Your number has switched to ID Mobile’ text. Help please. Or do I just stay with EE?

Hi I can’t find any welcome email from ID Mobile. Could it be resent? I can’t switch my number to ID Mobile without it. Thanks! Kind regards Zoe Carroll
