If you believe that the data on your tariff is enough for both devices then that would be a good option. Although this being said it's easy to use up data quicker than usual if you are tethering, so it's a good idea to ensure that you have a cap in place. Firstly could you please ensure that the account holder enters the details as provided at the time of ordering. The account holder is the person that placed the order not the user of the SIM (if it is to be used by somebody else). It may also be worth allowing 24 hours if you have just received your SIM, for your sim card to be activated. The mobile number that you need to enter should be as shown on your confirmation or SIM Card holder. Let us know how you get on with this. Kash

Hi [user=10703]guriinii[/user], Thanks for your post. Our SIMs will work with handsets that are 3G/4G compatible. Looking at the Alcatel 10.66 it doesn't seem to be 3G compatible, which means that it wouldn't work unfortunately. I hope this helps. Kash

Firstly could you please ensure that your handset has the latest software installed so that it is up to date. You may need to set up WiFi calling on your handset and you can do this by following the below steps. -Firstly Connect to a WiFi network. -From the home screen, tap Phone and Menu -Tap settings -scroll down to the Wi-Fi calling and ensure that it is on. Firstly please could you ensure that you have entered all the details correct as provided at the time of ordering. The account holder would need to ensure that all the details match such as Date of Birth, Name and mobile number. The mobile number would be the iD mobile number that you received not the number that you are wanting to port in, if that's what you are looking to do. Could you please email us with your Mobile number, the text message that you are trying to send and the name of who the short code belongs to. We would also require some some account information such as name, address, email address and date of birth. From what we can see Go Mobile is the best network to connect to in Malta. In order to manually connect to the network could you please follow the steps below; [list=1] [*]Open settings [*]Tap Mobile Data [*]Tap Network Selection [*]Turn Automatic Network selection to off [*]Manually select the network from the options [/list] Also within the settings and Mobile data settings please ensure that your Mobile Data Roaming is switched to 'ON' If non of the above work please could you turn off the handset for a little while and get back to us with how you get on? Hi [user=10704]lumberjack[/user], Unfortunately when the handset is purchased from somewhere other than iD Mobile we can't guarantee that Wifi calling would work. It is likely that the handset has a different Firmware installed which can't be added to the handset after purchase. As the handset doesn't have the firmware Wifi Calling wouldn't work on the handset. We are sorry about this. Kash

Sometimes some handset convert SMS messages to MMS messages due to Emojis in the message or the character limit. If you still wish to send this message you would need to increase the cap on your account and you would still be charged for sending it. I would advise to ensure that Data Roaming is enabled on your iD account and on the handset. Once this is done could you try manually connection to a network. From what we can see Go Mobile is the best network to connect to whilst you are there. If the above doesn't work please could you try again after leaving the handset off for a while. Kash

Firstly could you please try restarting your handset and try sending a text message to yourself. What happens when you try to send a text message, do you receive an error message? Is it a new iD SIM card or a replacement that you have received? If you could try the SIM in a different handset and check if this makes a difference that would also assist us. Firstly after 24 hours I would advise to restart the handset and try getting somebody to call both numbers to see what happens. Once you have tried calling the original number and the ported in number please let us know what happens so we can get to the bottom of this. Kash

When you update the email on your account you would still need to log in with your original email address as this would be your username. We wouldn't send any information to the old email address if you have updated the contact email address. The original email address is treated as a username and can't be changed. However if you have updated your email in your account any correspondence will be sent there. I hope this clears things up. Kash

If the handset is purchased from else where it is likely that it wouldn't have the firmware to support iD Wi-FI calling. Hi @nogazwezza, Firstly welcome to iD Mobile and we would be happy to help with any questions you have. In order to Login you would firstly need to register an account HERE by entering your details. You will need the iD Mobile number that is active on the SIM in order to register as well as having the SIM card in the phone. We would send a security code to the SIM which would allow you to complete the registration process. If you don't have the SIM yet you will need to wait for it to arrive in order to do this.
