I contacted ID to cancel my daughter’s contract. I was told I had to give one month’s notice. I waited a month and then cancelled the direct debit. CARS began chasing us for £20 debt rather aggressively. We paid. Now we are being chased by Overdales for another £20. This is totally out of order as as far as we were concerned we cancelled the contract. The phone number/SIM has not been used for months and yet you pass on the debt. Please help as we are finding it impossible to get through to ID by phone.

hello all, new to id mobile this month i was just wondering if read receipts are free to use on id mobile or do they charge for this feature, just regular sms read receipts. thanks in advance for any insight, cheers.

Is Mallorca part of the id roaming? Spain is on the list but am unsure if Mallorca and the Balearic Islands are included within that.

Missed one payment which meant that the service was stopped now I have cleared it my phone is still not working any ideas or help

How much of your data is rolled over from your original allowance? Is it capped or is it whatever you haven’t used? For example on a 40Gb allowance if I only use 10Gb is 30Gb rolled over and so next month I get 70Gb allowance? I know it only lasts a month, but let’s say it does above, and then only use 10Gb again, does it use rollover data first? So the month after I’d have 80Gb? Thanks

Hi when I try to call mobiles I am getting a message that the call will be charged at 30p minute but my plan is unlimited minutes.

I have gone to use my phone this morning and it is telling me that each call will cost 30p per minute bill was paid on 4th July when due

I am trying to assist a vulnerable individual who has been the victim of identity theft. They have never been a customer of ID mobile, have never received any services from ID mobile and have never made a payment to ID mobile. They have now received a letter in their name at their address demanding payment of an outstanding bill. I can find no method of contacting ID mobile without information about an account which this individual has no knowledge of. Any help would be welcome.

Hi, I am travelling to France soon for the summer – and I wanted to ask a question about the data cap. I was just wondering, if I purchased the £12 bundle for 36 GB of data to use in France – and then used it all, would I then be able to buy the extra data bundles of 100 GB and 200 GB to top up my data and use them while I am still in France? Will there be a data cap on these too? thanks

I send a text message and I get a notification that the message could not be sent, and despite the notification some messages are sent anyway, but it is annoying because I do not know which messages have been sent and which notThe other thing is that I wanted to leave my old number, I transferred it to you and it is still my main number, but when I send a message or make a call it is the number you assigned to me (it doesn't work every time either), could you please check this?I would be very grateful

I upgraded to a new handset about 6 months ago and, on the advice of ID customer services kept my old SIM rather than switch to the new one. Everything’s been fine until today when I downloaded the ID Mobile app for the first time on my new handset. I then received a text message saying “Good news! Your new SIM card is now in the process of being activated…” Since then I’ve now no service on my phone so assume the current (“old”) SIM has been deactivated. I’m now away from my new and unwanted SIM card (still in its envelope) for over a week and really need to be able to use my phone. I’ve no idea what has caused the apparent deactivation of the old SIM but would be really grateful if there’s any way it could be reactivated. Wisdom very gratefully received! Thank you.

Hi, I had a £24.09 data charge added to my account on Friday 27th May. I was in the UK and boarded a ferry which I’ve since found had a Skybridge satellite on it. My phone automatically connected to it, I didn’t proactively use it but must have received a WhatsApp message. The next day, having received a cap limit alert at 2:10am, I looked into it using the onboard WiFi. I realise the boat has a Skybridge mast and my phone had automatically connected to it. I immediately activated aeroplane mode. what are my chances/how do I go about getting the fee cancelled? many thanks carolyn

Good Morning.I've had my phone stolen last night.I've blocked the phone and sim.What happens in regard to my bill?Can I do something where I'd only pay up till last night?Also if I purchase a new phone from id, can I use that number that's blocked and carry it over to the newm phone?Thanks

I ordered my new oppo find x5 in the 1 day delivery as advertised. I ordered this on the Tuesday. Wednesday night I've received a email telling me it'll be delivered on Monday. Whick is most certainly more than 1 day. In fact it's nearly 6 days. Fair enough Thursday and Friday are Bank Holidays but the weekend is not. And I'm busy at college on Monday when I needed the phone.

Let me tell you my story: I found ID mobile in 2018 through some comparison tools like uSwitch. I decided to order a SIM card to switch from my provider at the time. I've completed my order online and ordered the SIM card to arrive by post. Meanwhile, I called my provider who offered me a better deal and decided to stick with them. Note that I have never received the SIM card from ID mobile and in January 2019 I noticed on my bank account some payments towards a company which I didn't recognised so closed the direct debit ID Mobile then contacts me to say I have missed a payment. I call back immediately saying I have never received the SIM card, never used their service and don’t know how I’ve ended up in a contract with them or why should I pay for the service. They agree to close my contract and give me a full refund of the previous payments. To be, this means, case closed. They admitted there has been a misunderstanding, and I was never supposed to pay in the first place. Over 3 yea

Hi, I am due to travel to Montenegro and the UAE and know these countries are outside of the inclusive EU zone. Could you please let me know the charges, and if there is a travel bolt-on that I could buy for these areas, i.e like the £6 a day all inclusive cap that O2 and Vodafone offer. Thank you.

How do I go about achieving this? I can see SIM only deals online but if I choose one it will replace my current one. Thanks.

Hi there, Im just a little confused, last month a payment was unable to be made on the day it was supposed to be taken out, payment was attempted on the 3rd but I got payed on the 4th, I then made the payment however, it seems that either I have somehow missed another payment between then and now or the payment hasn't been confirmed by yourself, can someone have a look. I have upgraded my current plan to pay monthly 12 months. ie £5 The new sim is in the post, but i cannot physically access because I am in hospital. The new plan is unlimited phone calls unlimited txt and 3 gb gata. The app shows unlimited calls and txts but the data is 1.5 of 1.8gb Do I have to physically insert the new sim as mins txts are ok but not data and/or will the data will get updated automatically to 3gb I also bought a £6 addon for more mins as i thought I might run out, but with hindsight that was not really required. Do I assume that was a waste as I was not sure how long the upgrade would take effect plus not sure if I had to put in the new sim to activate the calls/txt and data. Could I get a refund on the £6 or is that discretionary and how would I get in contact if that was allowed.

Hi I am in the USA for 4 days and within an hour of landing I had used up my £5 price cap for roaming charges. I need to use roaming to get around for navigation but I can only extend price cap to £75. Is there an add on I can buy for international roaming or remove my cap for this month? Otherwise I am stuck

I had a pre-existing phone and iD sim contract, and I have just bought a new phone and new iD sim contract. I would like to port my old iD number to my new phone, but it won’t let me use a PAC to port the number from one iD sim to another - is it possible to do this? I really need to keep my old number. Can anyone clarify where iD stands on the Armed Forces Covenant? I’m about to deploy overseas for 6 months and would like to take a contract break so that I’m not paying for a service I can’t use. I’m not asking to get free service - would happily pay for the outstanding months on my contract after I return. Customer service aren’t being very helpful, even when I explain that I can provide evidence from my Unit Welfare Officer.
