Hi, I got a new iD Mobile SIM and ported in my number from Smarty. The port date was yesterday,  Friday 19th June 2020. My new SIM was working fine yesterday morning. Then around midday the old number ported to the new SIM. The old SIM went dead and so I threw it away. In the app dashboard it successfully shows my old number having replaced the temporary one. However I cannot make calls or receive calls, and there is no data connection (the icon does not appear), and I cannot send or receive texts. It shows "iD" as the network operator but I can't seem to access the network. I have reset the network settings on my Android phone. I have restarted the phone many times. I have tried the SIM in my wife's phone and have the same problem. Her SIM works fine in my phone. I am a hospital doctor and I came to iD Mobile because of the NHS promotion. But now I need my phone as I'm on shift at work in A&E and my number is dead :-( Please advise / help!!!        

My direct debit should have been taken today and is yet to come out of my account. Says on the app that it is due today and the direct debit details are for the correct account. It also won’t let me make an manual payments telling me the secured pin and password I’m entering are incorrect and they are not. What should I do? I do not want to miss my first direct debit and it then be held against me because of this

You have replied, rather unhelpfully, to my recent question about my excessive bill and suggested that I look at the details of it. I had of course already done so and do not understand it. It is not made up in the way I described in my previous message and I do not understand the terms you are using. I know of no reason why the bill ahould have exceeded my original figure of £15; I agreed to pay the additional £10 in order to avoid any further cuttng off of my calls and was told this was if anything rather too much for my expected usage. In June I was advised that I could upgrade my phone early. I choose a phone on the ID website and it was delivered the following day, I made an upfront payment of £29.99. On receipt of the phone I realised that I had made a mistake and purchased a phone on a brand new contract. I contacted Customer Services straight away and arrangements were made to return the phone. Customer Services confirmed receipt of the phone and I received notification that £1.26 will be taken from my bank via DD [final bill for a phone I did not use?]. That aside, I have been waiting for the up front payment of £29.99 to be refunded. I called Customer Services on 9th July. I was told that Carphone Warehouse would credit the amount and was transferred to them who stated that they would not credit the amount and I was then transferred back to ID Customer Services. I got a monthly SIM for an old “emergency” phone but could not set it up, probably faulty phone. I cancelled the Direct Debit and now have a message that this has not cancelled my contract and may affect my credit rating. I can’t remember my password and the “forgotten password” screen rejects my email address. I cannot use “forgotten email or username” because that needs to send a text to my phone which is not working. How do I get into my account to cancel it?  Advice very welcome!

Hi I recently changed my plan from the £5 pm 500 minutes 1Gb data to the £6 unlimited minutes 1Gb data. I deliberately changed my plan at 5 minutes to midnight on the last day of the month to make the changeover as seamless as possible - it appeared to work as I got the correct bill 10 minutes later! Since then no data has rolled over whereas before 1Gb rolled over every month (I only use about 250Mb per month for Waze). I understand that I lose the rollover in the 1st month of the change but not subsequently. Has iD Mobile changed it’s policy or is this a snaffu in the system? Thanks

For months I have been paying a non working sim card placed in my tablet always connected to the wifi. It has never been used to make phone calls so I don’t know its phone number. I have two sims from ID so I don’t know wich DD corresponds to which phone contract. I can see two charges in my account for the same amount, but because I can’t discover which phone number is the tablet one I can’t reach the invoices…..   I need help.

I have a new phone with id but it wasn’t an upgrade as the phone I wanted wasn’t within the upgrades given. My old phones contract ends on the 14th of July and I would like to cancel so I don’t carry on paying for a phone I won’t be using. How do I do this?    Many thanks   Evie

I am in the process of porting my number to iD from Three. My number disappeared from my Three sim over 4 hours ago, but has not come through to my iD sim yet. I can’t receive any texts to my phone number (e.g. notifications, banking and other two-factor authentication). How long will this last, is it normal for it to be hours? I’m sure last time I ported my number (a long time ago I grant) it only took a few minutes.

Looking at a recent bill I noticed that I’ve been charged 6 times for the same SMS. How do I contact the accounts department to get this rectified, as the message was not part of my bundle as it was sent to an Eu country ?   TIA

Hi My son has an Iphone6 and it seems to be locked to his previous network provider. When we insert the ID mobile Sim card it says the network is not supported. We contacted Apple but the instructions they provided didn’t resolve the problem. Can you advise please. He has now had the Sim for 3 months and been unable to use it! Thanks

I am looking to change my sim only contract but I need wifi calling as this is a very poor reception area  

I've got a Sony Xperia XA2, about half way through a current contract with ID. About 3 months in, it started to randomly crash, and wouldn't reboot or reset until the battery went completely flat, then it would work fine for a few days before doing it again. I took it to carphone warehouse, they sent it off, firmware update, said it was fixed, it wasn't. Took it back, sent it off, reset and software reload, said it was fixed, it did the same thing, only more often. Took it back again, sent off again, was "repaired", but the repairer didnt make any repair notes. The manager said if it wasn't fixed this time she would sort a replacement.  Still have the fault, now my store has been closed, and I still don't have a usable phone (other than a borrowed Samsung which isn't great) How do I go about getting my contract Sony replaced/repaired now my CW store is permanently closed?

I want to port from Vodafone to ID on a monthly £3.99 SIM only plan. But first I need to confirm that ID mobile notify the credit reference agencies each month even on rolling monthly plans? If they don’t there’s no point in porting to ID as I want to help build my credit history. Thanks.
