Apologies in advance for a question that’s probably been asked 1 million times but we are going to France for a week next week and my understanding is that I can make phone calls in France back to the UK at exactly the same call rates as if I were back home in the UK - and I believe it applies to landlines as well as to mobile phones. I believe also that data rates are the same as well - in other words - whether I am in the UK uploading and downloading or whether I am in France doing the same thing, it makes absolutely no difference?  If I have got any of this wrong, please let me know.thanks Pete

I’ve had 4 numbers (for myself and various family members) for many years. They were all paid for by me and under my name.I now just have 2 numbers with ID; my wife and daughter.I’ve created a “new” online account successfully, but I can’t add either of their numbers. I’ve tried using name/DOB for me, my wife and my daughter, but it says “details not recognised” in all cases.  Previously I had a separate online logon for each phone number, which was a bit awkward but worked.Sounds like I’m not alone. Hello,My wife and I are both iD customers and she is travelling to see family in Russia soon and passing through Turkey (she’ll be there for a day at most on this journey).She would like to send text messages to me while in Turkey (where she could use her smartphone) and then in Russia (where she will be using an older Nokia phone) because although we can get a “Roaming Beyond” add-on for Turkey, but this is not an option for Russia.So we are wondering how best to go about this please as I find the information on the website confusing?Many thanks,RichardWatt7

Does anyone else have a problem with the Google pixel 9 pro XL and the RCS encrypted text messages not working? It's Google's own encryption and doesn't seem to work on the phone weirdly. I do have WhatsApp however so not a big deal.  But just wondered if anyone else has had this issue?!

Since I have left EE and switched to ID mobile,  my signal is terrible,  calls cut off randomly and I can't make a call without someone saying I am constantly breaking up. Also voLTE will not work with my samsung A56 

I can't find how to cancel a SIM only contract in the ID mobile app. I've got 2 SIM only contracts (one month) and want to cancel one of them 

I can not get any sense from IDMOBILE / Currys or DPD, I've been passed around the houses to no avail, DPD need someone from IDMOBILE to contact them to initiate a parcel search, I've made many calls, many online chats and to no avail, I have now been waiting over a week to get this sorted and nobody is doing anything about it apart from a whole lot of effort from me. 

I have ordered a new sim for my friend. It was not working at his location fine. It was active for 2 days didn't used it. Cancelled the contract. Still it says your bill be generated after one month and you have to pay the charges as the sim was active. Does it makes sense ? How much will be the bill in this scenario please.

I bought an ESIM, which does not have a phone number. As a result, I cannot create an ID mobile account as this is a requirement to do so. I want to cancel my plan, and have cancelled the DD, but am wondering if there is anything else I need to do? Thanks 

My transfer to iD mobile was apparently completed on the 22nd March. At that point I was unable to make or receive calls or texts so the support team sent me a new SIM card and I did some troubleshooting steps. I can now make calls and send texts but not receive them - I believe this is called a split number port. I spent a while talking with a team member last week about this and they informed me they had passed the issue to the tech team. Today I tried to contact the iD team to get an update on this, after 45 minutes of a team member talking me through the same troubleshooting I had already done and ignoring all attempts from me to ask them to contact the tech team for an update, they finally checked my record and found no request to IT had been made. They then attempted to get me to do more troubleshooting so they could process the request, and provide evidence of the issue - I am not sure how I can evidence non-receipt of calls and texts, other than that I have received none since

I wanted to increase my bill cap above £25, as I am out the country and needed to make call to my bank from my registered no, but as i reached my bill cap i cant make call, I paid £50 on the iDmobile online, but I dont know where that went, as I still cant make any calls, can you please help me on this how to increase that and where my £50 payment went. Thanks

Over the past couple days my phone has been unable to send texts. Instantly the failed to send issue pops up. However I am still able to receive texts, use and receive calls and my mobile data works. I haven’t changed any settings on my phone or ID account. My phone hasn’t been damaged either.  iPhone 15 Plus 

I have just purchased the Samsung Ultra and when trying to pair it with my phone I am getting the following error code message “E53306 Your airtime is not compatible with the Smartwatch Pairing service - Please call your contact centre”Looking on the forum I can see these types of questions were asked over a year ago, have you guys still not moved with the times???I can see other providers have this service and yes they charge a monthly fee so I’m very surprised if you haven’t, somewhat frustrating that I cannot use my watch as I wanted due to my provider not providing the service! 

So I decided to do an upgrade before my last contract ended. I had in place at the time unlimited  data everything. I chatted to an upgrades team and decided to get the galaxy s25 ultra. Also with unlimited data.  However I now have charges on the account for data used outside of the plan that total £95.44 during the upgrade process from my last phone to my new one. Clearly they have not applied the bolt on at the time of the upgrade properly. I have tried many times to try to resolve this issue. I have raised a complaint. My current bill outstanding is £95.44 it should be £41.99 per month. Anyway as I am still in a cooling off period I am seriously thinking of cancelling my contract and returning the phone. You can never get anything resolved with company because half of the agents just don't understand what your chatting about. Its just ridiculous. However the agent tried to off me £20 off my next bill in compensation. Im not going to be paid off for incompetent staff members mistake

I paid my outstanding balance around 12pm yesterday, it’s now 3:27 and i still haven’t been reconnected. it’s been way over 24h and i can’t speak to anyone to get it changed. what do i do 

Hey all, Just wondering if anyone knows when iD will be getting IPv6? I’m considering switching to iD but I often have issues surrounding CGNAT, which I get around by using IPv6. I’ve got an iD SIM at the moment for testing which does not support IPv6 Many thanks!

I have just started a new account with id mobile through Carphone Warehouse. My current account is also with idmobile. How can I transfer my old number to the new phone as getting a PAC will not work?

I have not been able to connect in France or Belgium. I'm going to Germany tomorrow and I'm fully expecting the same problem.I have turned on data roaming and I have more than enough data available and allowed WiFi calling. But can not connect to the internet or make or receive calls. When I try, I get an English message telling me that the call can't be connected.This is extremely frustrating and I am SO close to changing my provider. I have a OnePlus phone. The same thing happened last year when I had a Samsung. So it's not the fault of the phone.Thanks in anticipation for your support Suzi

I ported over my number 6days ago. I can make and receive calls, but I’m unable to receive texts/ iMessages or use FaceTime. I’ve followed the instructions on the FAQ, I’ve contacted Apple support going over all the instructions regarding turning off iMessage FaceTime, rebooting then turning off and restarting. Also reset Network none of this has worked. Tried the chat app but robo chat going round in circles. This is so frustrating. There is nobody to talk to. Can anyone suggest something

Is the person able to retain his old number while he uses the ID mobile sim coming with this new phone with the old phone and I will put my existing ID mobile sim in the new phone
