changing from sim card to eSim

I’ve bought a new phone and it does not have a SIM card holder and requires a eSIM. I currently have a SIM card but Can you change from a SIM card to an eSIM?

    How do I get a replacement eSIM?

    To get a replacement eSIM, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to the iD Mobile app or my.idmobile.co.uk and click on Plan.
    2. Go to SIM & Phone Management > Request a replacement SIM or eSIM.
    3. Select Get a replacement eSIM, confirm your email, and choose Yes, I want a new eSIM.
