I have iPhone 15 bought with ID mobile and E sim. I recently went to Spain and I couldn’t access my data unless was using a wifi. It was so frustrating as I couldn’t use the maps or anything. Can someone help please

It’s not in under that heading. When I go into Mobile data is says - primary/secondary and my number and then Allow Mobile Data Switching

That might suggest you’ve got at least two SIM products in the phone with your iD SIM, @Jellibaby

Have you set your iD SIM to be the primary line for calls, texts, and mobile data?

Hi @Jellibaby  sorry to hear this, and I hope it didn’t disrupt your trip too much.

The links kindly shared by @andewhite  should help for next time you have a trip.

Hi @Jellibaby

This should be under Settings > Mobile Service > Mobile Data options.

Primary line seems to be with EE and secondary is ID. I don’t have any other lines apart from the one with ID. So do I cancel primary?? I have no clue

Hey there @Jellibaby, to use our SIM, we’d recommend making it the primary one. Are you using the EE SIM also or not?

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Tyler

No I don’t have a contract with ee. I’m not sure how it’s happened maybe because I kept my old number but the phone is brand new with ID. So how do I change to primary just delete theEE one ?

The Apple iOS user guide, for your iPhone 15, should explain how to setup your iD SIM as the primary line, @Jellibaby.

This is link for the online version of the iOS user guide for your iPhone 15.

Do you actually have 2 SIM products in your iPhone?

Hi @Jellibaby

Do you currently have an eSIM with EE too?

We would recommend clicking the link @andewhite has kindly linked above.

This just shows me how to set the phone up. I’ve had the phone for 9 months. Why is there no one to actually speak to? Everything takes ages to sort anything out with No customer services. It’s a bit of a joke really.

Hey there @Jellibaby, if you wish to speak to us, we’re happy to help here, as well as via our live-chat and social media teams on Facebook and Twitter/X. We have numerous ways in which you can speak to us.

Have you tried making the iD SIM primary, and cancelling the EE SIM? Do you need help in finding out how to delete an eSIM?

Thanks,

Tyler
