Creatine a new iD account

I received my phone today but my old phone number from previous network is going to switch in 3 days, should I wait until then to make my account on that number? or if I make my account today with the new number from iD and then when the old number gets switched to iD will it automatically change in my account too and will be able to use it to log in or i will have to keep using the originial number from iD to log in my account.

Wifi on Tube

Would this method of connecting to Three Wifi on the tube work with ID sim? ( it works with other Three mvno’s)  1. Go to your Wi-Fi settings.2. Select the Three_WIFI SSID to open the configuration screen. Find the "EAP method" 3. Choose AKA from the list.4.Click on the connect button. Grateful if someone could test it, and report back.  Ta.

Error message when trying to input pac code

As with other members, I’m trying to switch my new number using a PAC code. ID mobile doesn’t recognise the pac, my surname, phone numbers or transaction number. Please help! Also, I have not received a welcome email from ID mobile. I previously had a  ID mobile account set up on behalf of my daughter but this with some years ago, I hope this hasn’t caused any confusion. thanks Catherine

Transferring number from o2 to id, why has it not fully switched?

Hi all, I just joined id mobile and when I signed up for my contract provided a pac code to use and set up the date to change over for the 24th of August (Thursday). Thursday comes and my old phone linked to my old number goes dead, the number is no longer linked to the old sim and I restart my new phone and wait for the text message from id saying yhe port is complete. It's now Saturday and there is no text despite resetting my phone, resetting network, rebooting the phone etc.  I can call out on the phone to people but anyone ringing my old number is getting dead air and anyone ringing my id number is getting dead air. I am just a little frustrated. Can anyone help? Chris

My order for a new phone has neen accepted but heard mothing for 6 days

HiI was accepted last Friday to become a new customer and for a new phone and was told someone was going to be in contact with me regarding the handset. I’ve tried to get hold of someone on the telephone number and now been waiting for someone to get back to me but as of yet still heard nothing. How can I find out what is happening? Thanks Molly

Cancelling a recent order

I currently have a 1 month Sim only contract and recently placed an order to move to a pay monthly contract.  I placed the order via a third party provider but was then informed i could not port my existing number over to the new monthly contract as it would be ID to ID.  The people i spoke with on here explained they would cancel the new contract and I would receive my up front payment once completed.  I have heard nothing since Friday.

How do I identify unknown charges?

I am being charged 2 x £1.50 at the very beginning of the new month (85004 Domestic?). I have tried to zero my extra usage charges but am not allowed to do so as “ your current out-of-plan spend exceeds this amount. Log in at the beginning of your next billing month to lower your cap”.The problem is that the scammers bill me before I am able to zero my extra usage charges, and so it continues.How can I get more information on these charges so that I can do something about them?Otherwise I will have no choice but to cancel my account.

Keep getting this message “We've tried to process your PAC, but there is an issue with the information you've submitted. Please check that you have provided the correct details and try again” when transferring a number from GiffGaff to ID on behalf of my wife. Didn’t give PAC at point of purchase trying now few months later, put surname in app capitals as advised on here but no joy, please help

Various questions before joining iD

I'm thinking of joining iD mobile as they have some good deals but I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help with. I was told on ID live chat that if my phone has 4g calling capabilities it will work. However looking online that doesn't seem to necessarily be the case. I've also found 2 lists on here with the phones 4g/Wifi works with, my phone is on one here https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/approved-handsets but not the other I found in a community thread. I can get 4g & WiFi calling on EE and want to keep this. I have a Motorola G82,it was bought sim free.Because of the above and that I've never been on the 3 network before I'd probably try a 1 month sim and then cancel it after the 30 days if I had issues. if I do this would I be able to port my number across at a later date if I continued with the sim rather than straight away? Also is a credit check done for the 1 month ones, I'd pass ok but not sure if I then cancelled it and took another one out elsewhere

How do I reactivate my Pay as you go phone?

Hi, I haven’t used my pay as you go phone for a while and I tried topping up but it doesn’t work.I tried to contact you via Live Chat and Live Chat doesn’t pop up, I can’t even download your app because Google playstore setting isn’t the UK, I can’t change it to UK because I’m leaving here in 3 weeks. Could you please reactivate my account?

Contacts unable to call/text me since porting number

Since porting my number across to ID, I’ve had several of my contacts say they can no longer call or text me with the number that is saved in their phone. It’s as if it’s blocked for them. I can still call and send texts, and am also receiving them from others, it seems to be a random selection of contacts that this is happening to. Any idea what is going on?

Why isn't your PUK code automatically available from your ID Account?

Hi, PUK codes - contact our Live Chat agents.While I wait the 45 minutes for someone to answer Live Chat, I just wondered why it was not possible to automatically get your PUK code from your ID Account? It seems crazy to have to do this via Live Chat, which puts increased pressure on the Customer Service team, when they are busy enough already and only available for set hours during the day. You are able to change your account details such as your customer services PIN , your Plan, your name and address etc, put you can’t see your PUK code. Why not? I’m interested.OK more peed off than interested now as you have cut me off from Live Chat after waiting for over 30 minutes. Not only that, you won’t let me rejoin the queue. it was 18:20 and CS is meant to be available until 20:00. What is if was in an emergency situation?
