I appreciate this is a very specific question…. I would like to take out a contract for a ID mobile for a nice new pixel 4a, and i will use the pac process to port my personal number over from another network.I also have a separate work SIM.  The pixel 4a is a dual sim phone, but the second sim needs to be a “eSim” which ID mobile don’t currently support.So my question is…. if i were to buy a sim only deal from o2 or vodafone in esim format for my work number, would this work in the 4a alongside the main id mobile sim.  Is there any issue with running two different sims from different providers?  Do ID mobile lock their phones to only work with their SIMs? Thanks in advance

Hi, I bought 2 iphone11’s for my kids on plans at the end of november, then although initially told otherwise found we could not transfer thier numbers as they were already with ID mobile on PAYG.We sent both phones back(with help from carphone warehouse) but I’ve had no notification of receipt or cancellation. How can I speak to someone about this please

Can someone help please? I need to cancel my sim only contract, I am within the cooling off period but am getting absolutely nowhere with the automated live chat, there’s nobody responding when I’m transferred to a live member of the team either.  They are meant to be open but no response from a real live person.  I’m 80 and shielding, it’s causing me utter distress and worry.  Please can somebody help?I’ve tried logging into my account but I’m going around in a merry go round, it’s not recognising my details, yet when I try to request a new username it says I’m already registered.  I’m getting so confused with it and I’m worried I’ll get stuck in a contract if the timeframe lapses.

As you know the ID app features a login in username with an email however since joining the ID app my guardian at that time was using their own email which has now expired as they no longer use that email service anymore. Therefore despite being able to change the email in the ID app /my account-my details/ section to my new email the actual username itself has not followed suit. Therefore how do we change our username to the ID app if it has already expired and is out of date?

I’ve been on several other networks, in the past, and I’ve never had any signal issues in my house. The coverage map shows very good coverage in my area. But in the house I have nothing at all  now. Can’t send/receive text or make/receive calls. I’ve been using WiFi, up to now, but with working from home, it’s now become a big issue for me as we don’t have a landline I can use. Can anything be done about this? Or can I leave ID Mobile and only pay for the outstanding amount on my physical phone, and not be charged for my calls/texts/data that I haven’t used yet? I now have a totally unusable brick on my hands and I’m locked in for another year and a half.I did check the signal coverage, before switching but, as mentioned above, it showed very good coverage. Very good is not no signal in my house anywhere. I have to walk down the road to get anything. I see no way of getting hold of ID Mobile to ask about this, except live chat. Hello, I have been trying to cancel my contract for the past week it sends me on a never ending loop between the app and the ID website. I have put in a request to end my contract but it would not let me confirm the disconnection without speaking to customer service. I tried the live chat a few times but no one was available. There does not appear to be a number to call or email to resolve this. I have had to set up this account on the community forum purely to get this resolved. It seems you have tried to make this as difficult as possible to leave. The message I got when trying to disconnect says:“https://porting.idmobile.co.uk/AutoSwitchingCommunity is under construction Please cancel my contract asap.I have cancelled my direct debit in complete frustration at having no other option

I ordered the iPhone 12 pro max on the 19th of December and had an email saying success we will let you know when it’s dispatched it should be within 24hrs, it’s been two weeks and I’ve heard nothing since so unsure if it has worked and if I should order again? 

I will be travelling and would like my iPhone 8 unlocked so I can use another network while abraod. Please can you address this for me

I ordered a phone and contract as a gift for my son on 14th November; it is needed by 7th December.  I received confirmation emails and then received an email saying the phone I’d chosen was out of stock but someone would be in touch. I’ve had no contact.  When trying to find out what was going on, I discovered that the only way to reach the company is by live chat but this is hardly ever available.  I’ve tried every single day since 16th November to use the live chat but the only occasion I have had any success was on 18th November.  The person I spoke to said the phone was due in on Wednesday so I would get an update then.  I offered to choose another colour phone but they said there was no need.  I’ve received no contact since.  The upfront fee has been taken from my account but no receipt has been sent.  I’m trying to find out whether I need to cut my losses and go elsewhere but it’s really difficult with no contact at all. I’m a new customer but I’m really starting to regret this.

So I have had 2 letters to my address with my name on it for an I.d account, I want this taking off the system please because this is not my account? Also your live chat system is terrible and your phone customer services is even worse.

I think my daughter has locked the aim on her phone we have tried everything from cleaning to coverage and all that as it hasnt worked for over a week and ive just seen she may have locked it by putting in an incorrect pin.... So thinking i may need to request for a PUK code but cant get any touch with anyone from ID... 😬😬  Any help please?Many thanksMegan.

SINCE TRYING TO PORT OLD NUMBER I HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO RECEIVE ANY CALLS FOR OVER 4 WEEKS I requested that my old mobile number be "ported" which ID mobile’s website states will take a maximum of 2-3 working days. 3 days later my old number was “semi –ported” so that when making an outgoing call to someone, their phone would show that they had received a call from this old number. However if they tried to ring that number the call would not go through, and they would just be told that the number was not in service. In fact I have not been able to receive ANY CALLS either on my new id mobile phone number or my old number for more than 4 weeks. I have wasted countless hours on the phone ringing day after day about the problem only to receive polite but empty apologies and assurances from their South African call centre that the matter would be sorted out by the end of the day. In fact nothing whatsoever has ever been done. As for the live chat........

I have a sim only deal at the moment and would like to upgrade to a new iphone. I have read online that if i upgrade now i would have to pay part of current tariff, part of the new tariff and a whole month.Am i right in thinking this could be a single bill of est £60 (rough costs based on £38.99 unlimited data) if i changed today. However my tariff is due for renewal on 17th of the month, and i make the upgrade then what would i have to pay as it would be at the start of my new monthly tariff. Would I just pay the £38.99 or would i get stung for 2 lots of bill.Thanks in advance.

I ordered a phone by upgrading. I received this on Monday but my account has not been updated and it only shows my old plan 

I'm due to have my number ported over on 5th Jan, will I get a text confirming this or will it just chsnge.

Hi, I ordered 2 iPhones for my children on or around the 16 December 2020.  One of them arrived a few days later in time for Christmas, a black XR and I have set that up and received the first bill.  The second, a white XR, has not arrived.  Also, I don’t have an order number so can’t enquire via livechat which, before Christmas, wasn’t working properly and when it did, needed the mobile number of the phone which I didn’t have.  You couldn’t proceed without it; obviously no one at iD mobile answering the phone number given by the website.  I couldn’t give my kids their phones for Christmas, they were supposed to be a present they both got.  I thought, never mind, surely it will proceed in the New Year?  I have heard nothing, received nothing, and don’t know how to enquire about this.  I’m really, really disappointed.  Mo Rankine

Hi – I registered for a SIM only mobile plan on 13/12/20 ref no 12280360 and have had confirmation emails and a letter regards my direct debit some time ago, but still no SIM card has arrived.Can you confirm if my SIM card has been dispatched.

I’ve had my new contract for 14 days and today my phone will not deliver text messages. I checked coverage and it seems fine, I checked my phone settings and it seems fine I have no idea what the issue is. I use my phone for working from home so I need this sorting ASAP and can’t seem to get in touch with ID mobile??

Hello,  I had a direct debit return from my bank for a payment that came out on the 4th of January (Insufficient funds). It says in the app that I payed my bill on the 30th and that I don't owe anything, I am assuming this is the payment I need to pay. I am trying to pay manually but I need to confirm if I owe anything.

I do not own a smartphone. After logging in online I am looking for my bill but cannot find it.Please send me my bill to my mailbox.Cheers
