Data Never Working New User

Hi I swapped my 2 children over from Sky as it had better data but whenever they try and use it it never works. It needs to be reliable as they are going away soon. Any idea why? My husbands seems fine. Both kids have iphones? I’m currently on a 12 month contract but I’ll be getting out of that if it doesn’t start working.

Number change and logging in

Hi, i’ve just got my new phone from ID and my number has been ported from Tesco Mobile (although it was still functioning fine on my other phone?).Anyway, now i’m trying to create an account on the ID Mobile app but it doesn’t recognise my ported number. I entered the number that ID have given me and that worked, the only problem is that, that number is de-activated due to the port. I’ve had people try to text and call it and it’s out of service, so i have no way of creating my ID account. Any ideas? Do i just need to wait? Plan was purchased almost a week ago and i entered the PAC code when purchasing. thanks

joining id mobile with multiple sims

I have recently given notice to Vodafone on 6 contracts, mine, my partners and my 4 older children, my children have all now put the contracts in their own names, the first one went through fine, we did 2 more the next day that were fine and then the last 3 got rejected.  After a lot of stress on the phone we were told that you can only sign up 2 contracts each day at the same address even though each bill is individual and that we would need to wait 2 weeks again before reordering, we waited 2 weeks and a day and yet again my partner has been rejected, so i expect when I do the last 2 tomorrow they will also get rejected?? This is so frustrating as we really want to join id mobile, my son is getting a perfect signal at a great price now! Is there any way around this? I have less than 2 weeks left of my notice period to Vodafone so need to sort it soon! Any help would be appreciated as don’t fancy ringing again to get nowhere.many thanks

If I order a new phone/contract today 2nd March 2024, will I miss the April increase?(Cannot seem to edit Subject -should of course be 2nd March 2024!!)  Or should I wait till April?

voicemail notification every time phone turned on / restarted

Hi, every time I turn on my phone (Google pixel) it tells me I have voicemail  (notification icon is displayed). when I then go to voicemail there are no new messages. the notification appears every time my phone is turned on or restarted. this has happened for 2 years on my old phone (still ID mobile) and after recently getting a new phone it's still happening. any ideas how to solve this?

Living abroad for a while, want to keep sim active for visiting UK

I’m living abroad for a while but still coming to the UK at the least once a year, sometimes more.I want to keep my ID Mobile account so that when I come back to the UK I can just put the sim in my phone, go on the ID app and I’ll be good to go. I’m currently on a monthly plan (SIM Only) £6 per month. I am hoping there might be a Traditional PAYG sim I can downgrade to where I can keep my number, I won’t pay anything the months I’m not using it, but pay as I use when I am in town. Ideally with no minimum usage requirement as I don’t know how long I’ll be out of town each time.Or alternatively can I park my number or pause and then reactivate when I visit?Thanks!

Refer a Friend

I referred my daughter in September 2023 to ID mobile with refer a friend. We've tried claiming for the vouchers using the email link, but it just sends us to the refer a friend web page. I've contacted ID mobile and they've been no help. How do we claim the vouchers??

Bill paid, but account blocker!!

I paid my bill on Friday morning, and I’ve realised this evening, that my services still haven’t been reinstated. I’ve been using WiFi at home, so hadn’t noticed.It has definitely left my account, but it doesn’t appear in the app. I paid it via the app, so don’t understand it. Can anyone advise what to do, please? The helpline isn’t open, and the chat just comes back with nonsense. thanks

Price rise cut off

Am looking at taking a handset+tariff contract with ID Mobile (through the Carphone Warehouse) and wanted to know that if I sign it today (10 Feb) am I still liable for my first increase along CPI in April 2024 or April 2025?Have seen conflicting reports from different retailers.

Registering with iD mobile

New customer, ported number from another network a week ago. Has been trying to register from the day after porting. When I click register, after entering the ported number, surname and date of birth, nothing happens (screen does not change).Tried using the forgot password link and got the following message repeatedly:“Something wasn't quite right. Can you enter your details again please?”Tried using the forgot username or email link and the same error message as above.Have checked the details entered, they were correct. Would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance

Calls from people claiming i called them

Hi,Has anyone else been getting calls from random people claiming that they had a missed call from your number?Last week i had a call from someone near manchester claming that i called them and today i have had another call from an Asian lady claiming that she had a missed call from my number.Im guessing a scammer is using my number on their VOIP to call people. Any idea on how i can fix this as i really dont want to change my number.RegardsDan

trade in pack

i purchased a new samsung galaxy flip 5 from id mobile at the begining of january and applied for the trade in but never received the trade in pack my old phone is only valued at £12 but i also claimed the extra £100 and filled in the online form.Ive contacted id mobile via TradeUpHelp@dixonscarphone.com. and they adviced me to put in a new trade in request, but will they still honour the £100 additional promotional offer  a month later

icloud

I have recently changed over to ID mobile from another provider and provided the PAC number and this was actioned at the start of this week. However, when I try to log into my iCloud the two factor authentication code which is being sent is not being received to my number. Has anyone had a similar issue and could there be some sort of block on this. I am receiving other calls and messages fine.
